Knowing without knowing how you know is an often used description of intuition. The American Heritage Dictionary defines intuition as “the act or faculty of knowing without the use of rational processes; immediate cognition.”
During this course, we’ll rummage through that definition, discussing examples of historically famous intuitive people, sharing examples of personal uses of intuition, exploring the idea of a hunch vs intuition, experiencing tactile intuition, and speculating on the role of intuition in communication with animals.
Learning objectives include opening oneself to the reality of intuitive insight and of using intuition. Additional objectives are to allow everyone to participate and to have fun in our exploration.
A professor Emerita of South’s College of Business, Lynn is a mother, grandmother, former business consultant, speaker, community volunteer, Sunday school teacher, etc. Since retiring from “South”, she has written Coming Out of Your Psychic Closet, How to Unlock Your Naturally Intuitive Self; Loving to the End…and On, A Guide to the Impossibly Possible; and Grief Fog And a Brighter Beyond.
