A guided 2.5-hour journey along the Dora Franklin Finley African-American Heritage Trail, offering a glimpse into the lives of African Americans who made significant contributions to the City of Mobile.
Transportation: Passenger bus (coach) to accommodate all participants
- Depart: 1:00 PM departure from the Center for Continuing Education office.
- Return: 4:00 PM return to the Center for Continugin Education office.
- Transportation: Passenger bus (coach) to accommodate all participants

Eric Finley
Eric F. Finley, a fourth-generation native of Mobile, Alabama, traces his family’s roots to 1870. Raised in Mobile’s thriving African American business community, Eric’s family history includes proprietors of health service businesses dating back to 1918.
He received a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi and went on to student marketing at Xavier University. After a successful marketing career, he retired in 2016 and began serving as the tour director at the Dora Franklin Finley African American Heritage Trail in 2017.
