This course will familarize you with the overall role and responsibilities of the paralegal in today's legal system. You will discover the history of the American legal system and of the paralegal profession, including the importance of ethics and skills. At the end of this course, you will understand what is required to be an outstanding paralegal in today's legal system, both ethically and performance wise, including communication with clients, researching and drafting legal documents, and case management.
