Thomas Rowell
Scott Wright Scott Wright, is the General & Artistic Director of Mobile Opera, a singer, conductor, composer, actor and an active supporter of the arts. For many years he has conducted theatrical productions and most recently served as Resident Music Director/Conductor for the University of Mobile's Alabama School of the Arts in opera and musical theater. He is the former conductor of the Baldwin Strings Orchestra and the Bay Area Strings Community Orchestra. He served as assistant conductor to the Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra, was principal guest conductor for the Eastern Shore Chamber Orchestra & Chorus and guest conductor for many others. As a singing actor, he has performed in more than sixty operas and operettas as well as numerous oratorio and concert presentations. He is well known locally for musical theater roles. He is a past president of the Mobile Arts Council and has served on the boards of the Mobile Theatre Guild, Joe Jefferson Players, and Chickasaw Civic Theatre. He is the General Director and a faculty member of the International Performing Arts Institute that holds classes in Bavaria each July.
Stacey Driskell Stacey Driskell is the Associate Director, Education and Outreach for Mobile Opera. In addition to planning and producing a wide range of school programs and community events, Stacey also performs in many of them as a singer or accompanist. In her role as educator, she coordinates and directs opera camps, manages and teaches choral programs for schools and produces numerous events for audience development as well as handling marketing for Mobile Opera. Known to Central Gulf Coast audiences as a singer, actor and musician, she has performed in more than forty productions in opera and theatre throughout the area. Stacey's involvement in the performing arts, other than on stage, include stage direction, assistant stage management, coordination of the Mobile Opera Chorus, student previews for area schools, and docent. As an arts advocate, Stacey has participated in planning, execution and entertainment for development events for the Joe Jefferson Players, Chickasaw Civic Theatre, Mobile Arts Council and The Crescent Theater.

David Miner

David Miner has been dancing professionally for 42 years. He began his teaching at Arthur Murray Studio in Biloxi, Mississippi. David managed and was dance teacher at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in South Carolina and Georgia.

After moving to Mobile, David was able to realize his dream of owning his own dance studio, David Miner Ballroom/Dance Academy opened in 1995. It is now the largest and most innovative dance studio in Mobile, with students of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds to learn the art of dancing.
