This beginning Conversational French course will introduce students to the alphabet and simple phonetic sounds. You will begin to understand basic vocabulary and short phrases and will explore France's rich culture. In this course, you will begin developing foundational listening, reading and writing skills,, as well as broaden your appreciation for the traditions and customs of the French people.

This course includes 24 hours of classroom instruction where students will learn and practice their skills interactively. It is for those who speak little to no French but want to learn. Join us in this creative and fun atmosphere!

Take Highway 98 through Daphne, then turn on US-98 Alternate (also called Section Street) and take this to downtown Fairhope. Turn west onto Fairhope Avenue and go two blocks.

The USA Baldwin County Classroom Complex will be on your right at the corner of St. James Street and South Summit Street.

The physical address of this building is 111 St. James Street.


Chantal Juery

Chantal Juery was born in Toulouse in the South of France. She received her Master's in French and taught school there for 23 years. She has served as a private tutor and also has over 5 years experience teaching adult students. She and her husband moved to the United States in 2022.
