Candid Street Photography is a genre of photography that shows students how to capture photographs of people interacting in a public place. Because the photographer is simply recording the scenes, they are much more likely to shoot candid or poignant photos. Street photography is about capturing daily life as it tells its story.

This course will guide students in creating these images, revealing the vibrance of the genre. As you acquire the skills needed to create meaningful photos, you will also learn about the laws concerning street photography, explore its history and get acquainted with some of the masters of the craft.

Class will meet in Cathedral Square on Friday from 5:00 PM-9:00 PM for the Art Walk and again on Saturday 10AM-1 PM in the classroom at USA to practice newly learned photography skills. If you travel or enjoy crowd environmental photography, this is the class for you.
