The CCE's Medical Billing and Coding program is an intense preparation course that readies students to sit for the Certified Professional Coders (CPC) Exam. The CPC exam thoroughly tests a coder’s grasp of the entire coding process, from medical terminology to code sets and beyond. The exam is comprised of 150 multiple-choice questions covering 24 subject areas, including anesthesia, radiology, and medicine.

Our program is modeled after the AAPC curriculum. This enrollment option is for the experienced healthcare professional and it consists of three required coding courses. It also includes coding books, an exam voucher and an AAPC membership.

While this certificate can be earned in a year's time, self-study and reading on your own is required in order to be successful. Please allow for at least two hours each day of self-study, outside of regular class meetings. Sitting in class alone will not guarantee your understanding of the subject matter or passing of the comprehensive certification exam.

Textbooks
All coding books are included in the registration fee and are updated each year to the most current coding books.

This registration is for the full Medical Billing and Coding program for Experienced Health Professionals who are preparing to sit for the CPC and who have been accepted into the Medical Billing and Coding Program. It includes all program costs including enrollment and course fees, books, a one-year student AAPC membership, 1 test voucher and a 50-question practice test.

Upon receipt of this enrollment you will be placed in the classes included in the program. This price is only for students paying for the full program year bundle. Additional fees apply when paying by class.

A passing grade of 70/C or higher will advance you to the next scheduled class. Students must attend at least 80% of all courses.
