Learn the system of melodic scales (ragas) and rhythmic patterns (talas) that form the basis of the music of the Indian sub-continent. No experience necessary!!! The experience will be rewarding and fun. Although this course is an ensemble course, it is for beginners and does not require an audition.

S. Raj Chaudhury
Dr. S. Raj Chaudhury is the Director of the USA Indian Music Ensemble. He trained in classical and semi-classical music in India and was the founding director of the Auburn University Indian Music Ensemble.
