The Torts course introduces students to the basics of civil wrongs and remedies for those wrongs, with an overview of intentional torts, personal injury, negligence and strict liability. The topics covered include: duty, breach, causation, damages, tort claims and defenses, malpractice, misrepresentation, nuisance, strict liability, product liability, injury, joint liability, vicarious liability and the paralegal's role in torts litigation.
