Odyssey USA is inviting Via Health, Fitness, and Enrichment Center members to join us for two upcoming Wednesday zoom presentations.

October 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Regina Kirkland, a USA graduate student will present "The History of St. Francis United Methodist Church." She will parallel the growth of this historic church with the growth of Mobile.

October 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Dr. P.J. Waters, with Auburn University Marine Extension & Research Center, will share the work being done to improve and protect Gulf Coast waters through oyster gardening. This is a great program where individuals, communities or groups can volunteer.

Zoom invitations will be emailed to Via participants prior to each presentation. If you need help and do not know how to use Zoom: The instructions are attached. Please follow the instructions to download Zoom on the device that you will use for the presentations.

The Center for Continuing Ed will also offer one training class for Via participants on Tuesday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. You will receive an invitation from our office to attend the training program.

P.J. Waters

Dr. P.J. Waters specializes in Oyster restoration (oyster gardening in Alabama and Mississippi). Aquaculture, mariculture, recreational pond and lake management. Aquaculture and aquaponics in the classroom. He comes to us through the Auburn University Extension & Marine Research.
