Graduated from Spring Hill College in 1999 and 2011. Member of Sons of Confederate Veterans, Sons of the American Revolution, Board of directors of the Alabama Lighthouse Association, and the Civil War Roundtable. Retired from Radney Funeral Home in 2008. Have published six books of local historical interests. Expeditions include participation in the re-discovery of the USS Tecumseh in the summer of 1967, the survey of Fort Powell in the 1960's, acted as dive tender on the CSS Huntsville/CSS Tuscaloosa discovery project in 1985 and many expeditions with archaeologist from the University of Alabama, University of South Alabama, and Louisiana. In the process of re-constructing the 40 foot iron lighthouse at Fort Morgan that stood from 1872 until 1966. |
