Professor Carey taught biology at the University of Mobile for 36 years, specializing in field oriented courses such as mammalogy, herpetology, field botany, and ecology and field biology. His interests include hiking, storm chasing, cave exploring, and photography. He especially enjoys using vintage film cameras and experimenting with alternative photography processes and printing, and regularly exhibits his work at the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope. He resides in Fairhope with his wife of 51 years. They have three children and four grandchildren |
