Marketing is not an unfamiliar concept for many nonprofit organizations, most understand it is an essential component of effective organizational management.
Marketing utilizes strategies designed to increase awareness of the organization and its services. Marketing and public relations efforts can draw constituents, new board members, volunteers, staff, and clients to the organization; while getting the message of the organization's effectiveness to the community.
In this course, students will learn marketing strategies for traditional and social media outlets. Students will also learn to identify target markets and how to develop a marketing plan.
