Description

This is the certificate fee only - you must sign up for the courses yourself as they fit your schedule.

The Photography Certificate program was formed to help enthusiastic amateur photographers develop their interest and knowledge of photography. To insure you have the basic skills you will need, the Certificate program has four required classes. In addition, students must complete any combination of elective photography courses equaling 42 hours, and prepare a portfolio. The portfolio should demonstrate the candidate's technical proficiency and visual creativity.

Students do not need to be admitted to USA to enroll in the certificate program. There is an attendance policy to ensure students receive instructions needed to be successful photographers.

Required Classes:

Camera Light, Film & Digital I

Camera Light, Film & Digital II: Beyond the Basics

Studio Lighting and Portrait Photography

Adobe Photoshop/Photoshop Elements or Lightroom or Portrait Photoshop Retouching

Complete any combination of electives equaling 42 hours

Complete a portfolio review

Submit the $40 non-refundable certificate program fee
